GHOST HUNTING
at the Totnes Museum

Cost: £34.00 pp
Time: 7 pm to 2 am

Over the course of its existence, the Museum has been the site of countless reports of paranormal activity, ranging from the spooky to the downright terrifying. Visitors and paranormal investigators alike have witnessed a host of supernatural phenomena, including ghostly cats, ethereal children, and a malevolent figure that strikes fear into the hearts of all who encounter it. Even more disturbingly, some visitors have reported feeling physically ill and disorientated, as if the rough seas were buffeting them. These occurrences are widely believed to be connected to the ship's mast and the main staircase surrounding it, which seem to emit an otherworldly energy that defies rational explanation.

The Musum history

Totnes Museum is undoubtedly housed in a beautifully restored Elizabethan merchant's house, which was expertly constructed during the 16th century.

The Grade I listed Elizabethan building is, without a doubt, the most critical object in our collection, and it has many fascinating stories to tell.

Since 1961, they have proudly showcased Totnes' rich heritage. Today, we are an independent charitable organization known as Totnes Museum Trust. We work tirelessly with our volunteers to celebrate Totnes' stories, lives, objects, and histories to inspire future generations.
