Situated in an acre of wood and garden in the Torrs Park Conservation Area, the property's picturesque-looking exterior belies the paranormal activity reportedly taking place inside.
Prepare for a spine-chilling experience at the Devonian. Experiences reported by paranormal investigators and guests alike recount unexplained movements of cat balls and poltergeist behaviour in the cinema area, taps turning on in the rooms for no apparent reason, and strange, disembodied sounds of water. One or two have even seen a Victorian couple strolling down the grand staircase, with a ghostly cat occasionally seen at the bottom.
Past investigations have yielded even more intriguing results: a faucet mysteriously turning on, a mischievous butler interacting with equipment, and poltergeist activity in the cinema room.

During our ghost-hunting investigation at the Devonian Guest House, We captured an intriguing recording of what appears to be the sound of water emanating from the ensuite of one of the bedrooms. Guests have reported seeing a Victorian lady and gentleman descend the staircase, and a cat is also seen at the bottom of the stairs.
